Charles Dance
Reviews Featuring Charles Dance
Nowhere near as bad as it's regularly made out to be, and arriving at a time when Murphy was still at his peak, "The Golden Child" makes for fun, easy-going viewing.
Marvellously directed and well-acted, but a dirty and wholly unrewarding experience, containing major plot-holes thanks to a complete disregard of what went on in the previous movie.
A nicely-packaged collectors item which anyone whos a fan of the series will love. Anyone else would be better off just getting the first two that ways cheaper, and you really wouldnt be missing out on much.
While possibly not for everyone, 'Swimming Pool' is superbly acted, and also perfectly constructed, with even the most casually offhand details or remarks coming to seem important in retrospect. A deeply intelligent film that somehow manages never to seem so.
Youll laugh here and there, but this is far from Ali G at his best. Pick up some of his early TV stuff if you can, but this is a film best left on the shelf.
A true story about prejudice and old boys' networks, as engaging as it is important.
Not the worst way to waste a couple of hours.
Youre only as old as the person you feel.
A Medieval take on The Expendables that nearly exceeds it's relatively modest budget. Fun for a while but gets monotonous and dreary as it crawls to a climax.
