Back To The Future TrilogyOriginal, exciting, entertaining and practically impossible to copy. The third film may be a tad weaker than the first two, but put together this is probably the finest movie trilogy ever. Yes, okay, I'll say it - it's better than 'Star Wars'. 10/10
3:10 to Yuma (2007) A great movie, with a great cast, gripping plot and some interesting twists. This is a Western as they are meant to be. 10/10
Dances With Wolves (1990) This is a fine film, beautifully made, with great attention to detail. One of the outstanding films of the late 20th century, everyone should see it and enjoy it. 9/10
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) It might have been Hollywoodized beyond any conceivable level of factual accuracy, but it remains one of the best Westerns ever made - and a whole lot of fun to watch, too. 9/10
Calamity Jane (1953) This is a cheerful western musical with bags of energy and optimism, and plenty of great songs. Timeless. 8/10
