The half-decent second half probably isnt justification for sitting through the first half, unless youre a fan of Irons, Binoche or soft porn.
Just because you can see its message from a mile away, don't think this is some simple revenge/anti-government movie; a fully realized, thought-provoking viewing experience.
A history lesson in a format your Mum might like, Made in Dagenham isn't to everyone's taste but it is largely watchable.
