Russell Crowe
Reviews Featuring Russell Crowe
Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World
Big, brash and powerfully performed but it only sporadically holds the interest.
Calling it a Beautiful Mind seems a tad self-indulgent but its certainly a bloody good one.
Caesar himself would probably give it the thumbs up even though its apparently a myth that they did that.
A great movie, with a great cast, gripping plot and some interesting twists. This is a Western as they are meant to be.
Ridley Scott plus Russell Crowe plus Leonardo DiCaprio plus political intrigue and action equal a thoroughly engaging thriller that will hopefully find more success on DVD than it did in theaters.
Definitely more stand-alone historical epic than Robin Hood instalment this is original and exciting nonetheless. A success despite Russell Crowe's Anglo-Irish Robin Hood.
Tom Hooper's adaptation of the hit stage play is seemless and Anne Hathaway and company deserve the awards they'll get.
