Salma Hayek
Reviews Featuring Salma Hayek
The 'Spy Kids' films set new standards in children's cinema, and this one is no exception. Imaginative, pacy, and a whole lot of fun - and with some unpatronising values smuggled in.
Gunfire and violence alone dont equate to a good story - its not funny, its not clever, its not sexy, and its not remotely interesting. It is one thing though complete rubbish.
Worth checking in for a look but you probably wont want to make a habit of it.
What is it about spending time in the sunshine that just makes you want to yawn uncontrollably?
A highly entertaining movie, with a great script and a really important message.
Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant
An interesting story that doesn't really deliver on its potential, this one may get in on the big vampire train making its way through pop culture, but its inability to find itself is disappointing.
A surprisingly decent, if not consistently funny, spin off from the Shrek series. Definitely better than expected, mostly thanks to a short and sweet runtime and great voiceover cast. Probably a success because Mike Myers is nowhere near it.
