Frances McDormand
Reviews Featuring Frances McDormand
An odd cross between a farcical comedy and a crime thriller, with some peculiar characters in an unusual setting. It shouldnt work but it does, resulting in a fine film that defies expectations.
Crime drama featuring a cops dysfunctional family that features a strong cast but needs more conviction.
Big cast, great expectations, huge disappointment.
Empty-skulled drama that just doesnt have anything to say.
The Coens have delivered a superb follow up to their masterful No Country for Old Men by not even trying to do something similar.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
No surprises here as Michael Bay produces yet another soul-destroying special effects mess to render its quality cast rather redundant.
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
Inoffensive fun for the kids with everyone tagging along from the first two installments but with enough new stuff to keep the kids, and any adults who might be partially paying attention, entertained.
