Jeremy Irons
Reviews Featuring Jeremy Irons
Entertaining in parts, but shallow and nonsensical in far too many others. Not bad for filling an hour-and-a-half but only if youve got a time machine of your own handy so you can then go back and watch something better.
The half-decent second half probably isnt justification for sitting through the first half, unless youre a fan of Irons, Binoche or soft porn.
This is an outstanding film with many fine qualities, but it requires a bit of concentration to get the best out of it.
Regardless of Disneys reasons for choosing to release this now, its a fantastic example of just how good the pre-Pixar generation toons could be. A real mane attraction (arf!).
Hats off to Annette Bening for a remarkable performance in an unremarkable movie.
Big, brash, bold, and not very good, Michael Radfords bitten off more than he can chew with this Shakespeare-for-the-masses flop.
Defying the laws of the threequel Die Hard: With A Vengeance is an original and enjoyable action thriller that may have even come close to the original. Yipee-kay-8-out-of-ten.
