Julia Davis
Reviews Featuring Julia Davis
A solid ensemble film about love, death and family, unfortunately let down by its terminally excessive length.
Quite possibly the only thing even remotely funny about this film is the title. Save yourself a few quid by looking at the poster and moving swiftly on.
Gervais and Merchant and the young cast do some things right with this feel-good Kitchen Sinker but the clichéd storytelling and heavy-handed lessons on life let it down.
If you only go to see one Jihadist comedy this year, make it this one.
