A clever idea thats never quite as good as you want it to be.
Riffing off the Thanksgiving myth, 'Pieces of April' offsets sentimentality with some hard-hitting cynicism. Intelligent, painful, and ultimately very moving.
Its called Abandon and thats exactly what you should do.
A brave attempt at bringing a landmark TV series to the big screen but it doesnt work.
In his best, and darkest, outing to date, the masked avenger's personal 'issues' reflect those of the world in the wake of 9/11.
If you fancy anything edgier than this self-indulgent rubbish then go fishing.
I'm afraid you probably won't be afraid of Don't be Afraid of the Dark, A very middle of the road horror film that's not great but okay for a bit of mindless entertainment.
