Laura Linney
Reviews Featuring Laura Linney
Big things have been expected of this picture but, although certainly not one of the worst films youll see this year, its nowhere near as provocative as it clearly aspires to be.
A completely average thriller that makes very little of the true life storys potential.
One of the most intelligent, mentally stimulating and memorable movies of the 90s. A must-see.
A solid and powerful drama thatll leave you thinking after youve left the theatre. How memorable itll be in years to come is open to question, but for now its a film to be savoured.
Plenty of people will love this film (you know who you are), but personally I couldnt wait to escape the theatre by the time the full 135 minutes had been wrung dry.
This biopic of pioneering sexologist Alfred Kinsey has its balls in its brain rather than the other way round.
