Liv Tyler
Reviews Featuring Liv Tyler
The Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring
Awesome. All the bits of the film that should have been in there in the first place, a must for collectors and Tolkein fans everywhere. Gorgous packaging, sumptuous quality. Both editions are great value for money. If youre like me, youll probably end up owning both.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Breathtaking. Gorgeous locations, good (if not great) dialogue and some fantastic battle scenes. As always Gandalf (McKellan) is outstanding, as are the performances generally enhanced from the first movie. The ents dont fail to disappoint, although I would have liked to have seen a lot more time devoted to them.
The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers
Visually its even more impressive than the last movie, but in terms of pure story-telling it falls ever-so-slightly short of its predecessor.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Quite possibly the best movie ever made.
Oliver Stone confusing a u-turn with going endlessly round and round in circles.
Surprisingly unannoying romantic (tragi)comedy about not having to be in a state just because you are in New Jersey.
Finally, a makes you jump horror flick that didnt originate in a much scarier version from Asia, The Stranger throws two likable people into a horrifying situationplus there are masks.
Not bad if youre looking for mindless but good-looking action with no real storyline.
