Mos Def
Reviews Featuring Mos Def
A workmanlike heist flick with some funny lines and some good (if brief) chases, but it is ultimately hampered by comparing itself to the original, better 'The Italian Job'. Probably the best way to enjoy this film is to ignore its title, and to think of it as an entirely different film with occasional sequences that merely pay homage to Michael Caine's cockney masterpiece.
Why oh why do you do it, Robert?
Its about neither monsters nor a ball but its worth a look if you fancy a bit of good old fashioned wretchedness.
Watch this gripping drama about a child molester's struggle against his own inclinations if you want to see the problem of paedophilia handled with more intelligence, sensitivity and balance than the tabloids can muster - if not, then watch it for Kevin Bacon's performance.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Hardly an earth-shattering solution to life, the universe and everything, but still gratifyingly eccentric.
