Emma Thompson
Reviews Featuring Emma Thompson
The quality of the animation never fails to impress, but cant cover up for the fact that this is one of the blandest cartoon tales ever to come out of the Disney studios. Extremely disappointing.
Plenty of people will love this film (you know who you are), but personally I couldnt wait to escape the theatre by the time the full 135 minutes had been wrung dry.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
A visually exhilarating but virtually unfathomable hundred-mile-an-hour bare-back hippogriff ride. Baffled? You will be!
Maybe not.
A bit like those angels wings, its sporadically up-lifting in a way that doesnt quite make sense but more often than that its a maudlin chore with too scant a reward.
