Crime
A Life Less Ordinary
A reasonably entertaining romp that, despite the title, is pretty well ordinary.
In the Cut
Sex and desire come to a bloody head in this elliptical thriller. Stylish, clever, and full of insight into the darker side of both male and female sexuality – but when a film like this runs twenty or so minutes too long, just don't advertise the fact by calling it 'In the Cut'.
South West 9

Mystic River
A solid and powerful drama thatll leave you thinking after youve left the theatre. How memorable itll be in years to come is open to question, but for now its a film to be savoured.
