An effectively eerie supernatural thriller – even if it tries to exorcise a few too many ghosts for its own good.
Le Doulos
This bleak tale of double-dealing criminals will pull the hat over your eyes.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
An inventive headtrip cum melancholic romance which sticks in the mind.
Re-inventing Eddie
This life-affirming comedy about accusations of paedophilia may seem sweet, but it leaves a very odd aftertaste.
Married/Unmarried
An incendiary examination of sexual relationships – just a pity that its strong sense of style distracts from the content.
Anazapta
An enjoyable enough romp in the mediæval muck, with a head-scratching conclusion.
