Marvellously directed and well-acted, but a dirty and wholly unrewarding experience, containing major plot-holes thanks to a complete disregard of what went on in the previous movie.

The Story of Ricky
While not for the squeamish, or indeed for fans of Mary Whitehouse, this film is a cult classic – fast, silly, jaw-droppingly outrageous, and a true original, unlike anything else you will ever have seen. And impatient viewers will be delighted by the padding-free pace of 'The Story of Ricky', which never fails to cut (and slash) to the chase. Very highly recommended.
Freddy vs. Jason
With the exception of 'Jason X' and 'New Nightmare', this is probably the best sequel in either franchise. Very gory, very knowing, and very funny.
Red Planet
Humourless, predictable and wholly unentertaining. If its a trip to Mars youre after, rent Total Recall instead. At least thats got Arnie in it.
Alien
Still one of the best movies to come out of either the horror or sci-fi genre this one gets the blood pumping.

An entertaining film with something for all ages – and Johnny Depp's best ever performance
