Rarely have I enjoyed a kiddy-flick so much this is a movie every member of the family, young or old, will be able to get involved in. One of the best movies of 2003.
Drama
Mystic River
A solid and powerful drama thatll leave you thinking after youve left the theatre. How memorable itll be in years to come is open to question, but for now its a film to be savoured.
The Cremaster Cycle
While definitely not your average night out at the cinema, Matthew Barney's five-part 'Cremaster Cycle' is a work of rare beauty and great wonder, making a unique viewing experience that is not easily forgotten – although be warned that less patient viewers may find that it is not fondly remembered either.
Mean Machine
Not a classic but, as Burt Reynolds remakes go, it could be much worse we could have Vinnie in a new Smokey and the Bandit.
Auto Focus
An absorbing dramatisation of the downfall of a US TV celebrity but definitely not for kiddy-winks.
Once Upon a Time in America
Director Sergio Leone's final outing is an epic masterpiece on a grand scale that gets just about everything right.
