A mature sequel that lives up to the first film and grows with its audience even though it doesnt remain completely true to the book.
Family
WALL-E
Once again, Pixar has crafted an Oscar-worthy film in a genre a lot of people dismiss as kid’s stuff. No mere cartoon, WALL-E delivers on all levels AND packs in some pretty relevant statements on the state of the world to boot. Plus, it’s quite possibly the best love story of the year.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Not the best Potter movie, but entertaining enough to keep us going until the next one.
Material Girls
The Marchetta sisters must rise to the challenge of saving their deceased fathers cosmetics empire, the family reputation, and their own inheritance.
Barnyard
Unlike The Lion King, Barnyard doesnt have the epic feel of an animated masterpiece. Despite that, its still better than the sum of its recycled parts.
The Cat Returns
Exquisitely drawn, if not quite imaginative enough to be the cats meow.
