An outstanding and moving film that will appeal to both men and women one doesnt need to know or care anything about baseball to be inspired by it. Not to be missed.
Fantasy
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Breathtaking. Gorgeous locations, good (if not great) dialogue and some fantastic battle scenes. As always Gandalf (McKellan) is outstanding, as are the performances generally enhanced from the first movie. The ents dont fail to disappoint, although I would have liked to have seen a lot more time devoted to them.
The Time Machine
Entertaining in parts, but shallow and nonsensical in far too many others. Not bad for filling an hour-and-a-half but only if youve got a time machine of your own handy so you can then go back and watch something better.
Big Trouble In Little China
It's aged a bit, but 'Big Trouble in Little China' remains terrific fun provided you don't take it even remotely seriously.
Dreamcatcher
Awful but hilariously so.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
A rollicking family adventure that will please parents as much as children, although the 'slug vomiting scenes may be a bit much for the younger or more sensitive ones.
