An outstandingly touching film, genuine, yet with plenty of tension and drama. This one will appeal to a wider audience than just Besson fans, and is well worth taking the time to see.
Resident Evil
This is a workmanlike sci-fi shocker that will most please adolescents and some fans of the genre. Others are likely to find it exciting but not outstanding, although the music from the film does raise it above the ordinary the score lifts this films mark from a 6 to a 7.
Ghost Rig
This first-attempt British film is a commendable effort at a horror thriller it shows plenty of potential and stands up very well in comparison with its better-funded American cousins.
Clarissa
This is an outstanding period piece full of wonderful characters. Although this film version runs to longer than three hours, it never drags or loses its grip. Highly recommended.
