The cast-list might suggest otherwise, but this utterly forgettable costume drama really is one you should make a point of missing.
British
Sixteen Years of Alcohol
A Clockwork Orange meets Trainspotting meets an episode of the Scots sketch show Chewin the Fat in this tremendously performed but poorly thought-out Richard Jobson gloom-fest.
The Tesseract
For all its style, this time-jumping marriage of '21 Grams' and 'The Matrix' still makes four dimensions seem more like one.
Io non ho paura
Switch off the part of your brain that controls all sense of logic and youll find this an intriguing, mysterious and ultimately enjoyable little film.
Sprung! The Magic Roundabout
This well-meaning cartoon romp completely misses the point of the series its based on – but thats not to say a little bit of me doesnt still want to see a big-budget blockbuster remake of The Herbs. Just imagine the very friendly lion called Parsley losing the rag and going on a bloody rampage!
Ghost World
Funny and intelligent in equal measure, this was one of the best, most under-stated movies of the year 2001.
