Its redundant at this point to continue to praise these Pixar films, but they did it again, and its funny and heartbreaking and a little scary and one of the best films of the year.
Family
The Karate Kid
Both an homage to the original and a franchise for a new generation, this re-invention is full of action and strong performances, if not a bit too long.
Marmaduke
A light piece of summer fluff with a cute big dog that will make your kids laugh a little bit.
Shrek Forever After
All in all, its a good film, not a great one, but one that ends the series well, and one that the kids will love.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Plenty of well executed, fast-paced action makes Prince of Persia enjoyable enough for a youthful audience, just don’t expect a servicable storyline or it to be over in a reasonable time.
The Spy Next Door
Sure, it’s bad, overacted, strangely edited, and totally ridiculous, but it could’ve been worse, and at least Chan seems like a good guy.
