An introspective and mature study of the monotony of war that’s the exact opposite of an all-action trailer that lied to too many people. It’s a different kind of war film that’s definitely worth a look.
A largely forgettable crime caper that thankfully has enough plot to hang the jokes on. The best thing Rattner and Murphy have made for a long time but that’s not much of a compliment.
The ridiculous and over-the-top nature of two Irish lads living the American wet dream is both the making of and the downfall of The Boondock Saints. Definitely one for the love-it or hate-it category.
A solid likeable Western full of memorable scenes, characters and dialogue. Oh, and the most annoying child you could imagine.
The main advantage of living in this dystopian future where most people die at 25 would be that I would have died before being made to watch this movie. In Time certainly doesn’t live up to it’s potential.
The uncanny valley effect strikes again as a largely good film is ruined by freaky animation that’s more unnerving than any horror.
Quantum of Solace fails to live up to the potential of Daniel Craig’s first outing and is so depressing that afterwards you may want to drown kittens for a bit of light relief.
Give this glorious animated musical a chance and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Intelligent, entertaining and unsentimental, Contagion is a skillfully put together apocalyptic tale that loses momentum slightly towards the end.
Good ol’ B-movie fun from the classic Eighties duo of Carpenter and Russell.
