It’s a good film – not a great one – and while it deserves its many nominations, there’s an audience disconnect that will keep it from winning anything but technical trophies.
Fantasy
Twilight
It sucked me in more than I thought it would, and for fans of the epic tragedy of melodramatic human/vampire love, this is a film for you.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
A mature sequel that lives up to the first film and grows with its audience even though it doesnt remain completely true to the book.
Dogma
A highly entertaining movie, with a great script and a really important message.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Not the best Potter movie, but entertaining enough to keep us going until the next one.
Superman Returns
For the most part an exciting and entertaining no-brainer, could this be a new franchise for the next generation?
