Enjoyable in places, but downright daft in others, with little chemistry between the main players and a hole-filled plot.

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
A tale of a childhood friendship which is stronger than most. Told with good humour and a deep understanding of the motivations of the characters.
Dragonfly
A slow film in which the main character's spiritual journey rarely seems to make much progress. A must for Costner fans, of course, but unlikely to make much impact on anyone else.
