Well made and strongly-performed, but lacking in that spark needed to make it memorable.
Reviews
Intermission
A well-acted, ambitiously plotted directorial debut which will leave you with a big smile. If all romantic comedies had this much cynicism, violence and raw energy, there would be hope for the genre.
The Foreigner
A confused actioner where even the fight sequences don't always make sense – it has little to recommend it.
Borderline
Competent but predictable stalker thriller - worth a watch but hardly the best of the genre.
Calamity Jane
This is a cheerful western musical with bags of energy and optimism, and plenty of great songs. Timeless.
Sink the Bismarck
This classic WWII story based on true events contains plenty of action but is most notable for its character-oriented approach to the subject.
