Ignore the claims that parts of this are real and go in expecting a disturbing work of fiction that uses a clever technique to tell its story and you wont be disappointed.
Science Fiction
V for Vendetta
Just because you can see its message from a mile away, don’t think this is some simple revenge/anti-government movie; a fully realized, thought-provoking viewing experience.
2012
The end can’t come soon enough with this overlong and overhyped disaster epic that all been done before – just far better.
Moon
One of the best movies of the year, Moon is so much more than a story about a space station, and with a standout, virtually one-man performance from Sam Rockwell, hopefully those in the know will take interest come awards season.
Pandorum
Nothing we haven’t seen before, Pandorum is still a suspenseful take on the “lost in space” theme that sci-fi fans will enjoy.
Surrogates
Not the film it couldve been, Surrogates brings some intriguing ideas and performances, but is ultimately a bit too convoluted and messy when it tries to be a hybrid of too many genres.
