Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
A tale of a childhood friendship which is stronger than most. Told with good humour and a deep understanding of the motivations of the characters.
This is a decent thriller with convincing performances. You dont necessarily believe the story, but the film is engrossing enough to be worth suspending your disbelief for a couple of hours and taking it at face value.
Twisted is a fair enough description, but it could just as accurately have been titled Poor, Predictable or A Bit Crappy.
Its de-rubbish.
Better than it's given credit for, this proves that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is one of the best out there right now when it comes to kid flicks.
