Michael Pitt
Reviews Featuring Michael Pitt
Two hours of self-important piffle about film buffs in the bare buff. Its desperate to be controversial, but its not.
The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things
In this beautifully nightmarish vision of America's apocalypse, a mother-son bond must survive itself above all things.
An exact replica (in English) of the original, this couldve been a superior psychological thrillerand it STILL couldve made its pointbut instead, it comes off as patronizing and snobby.
A wonderfuly dark and ridiculous comedy that gives us a slightly different kind of thriller. Sam Rockwell puts in a stellar performance and Colin Farrell stars in his third decent film ever. I'm stoked for the lad.
