A tough, no-holds-barred outing into the LAPD underworld, full of genuine tension and some terrific acting.
Enjoyable while it lasts but chances are youll have forgotten it before sunset.
Think of it as a combination of Se7en without the shocks and Angelina Jolie without her clothes.
What is reality coming to?
This second assault on the unlucky precinct proves that practice makes perfect.
The attention to detail and relative originality of Daybreakers threatens to lift it above the usual Vampire fare but it's let down in the end by poor storytelling and an unrelenting grimness.
