It’s a mess, and Megan Fox is pretty much pointless, but Jonah Hex has its moments of B-movie Western fun.
Predators
A pointless rehash with Adrien Brody in very uncomfortable territory, Predators may please some unfamiliar with the original, or Adrien Brody, but will leave the rest feeling hollow and unfulfilled.
Wild Target
As quintessentially British as tea and scones, binge drinking, and teenage pregnancy. This comedy thriller is pretty lightweight but packed full of subtle irony and sarcastic humour.
Toy Story 3
Its redundant at this point to continue to praise these Pixar films, but they did it again, and its funny and heartbreaking and a little scary and one of the best films of the year.
The Karate Kid
Both an homage to the original and a franchise for a new generation, this re-invention is full of action and strong performances, if not a bit too long.
The Usual Suspects
A good detective thriller made great by an eye-opening ending. It’s just such a shame that, unless you’ve been living in North Korea or in Josef Fritzl’s basement for fifteen years, no-one will come to this movie untouched by the hype.
