Gary Daniels stars as Captain Strong, an SAS operative who is 'borrowed' to become a messenger for the Secret Service. A trusted officer, he is given the dangerous task of delivering a delicate communication to the British Ambassador in Kazakhstan. He needs to avoid interference along the way, because if the message is intercepted it will compromise a number of secret agreements. These are deals that have been made with various heads of state for control over the region's lucrative oil resources.
Particularly interested in the contents of the message is Ben Samm (Christoph Waltz), leader of a rebel force that would benefit from control over the region's oil exploration rights. Strong must protect the message with his life, but it's not going to be easy. Along the way, he meets stubborn US news reporter Alexi Jones (Teresa Sherrer) who is investigating the oil story and is interested the mysterious Captain Strong. The two are captured by the rebels, who are also holding the Ambassador hostage. Strong has no choice but to lead his two companions in a daring escape attempt.
This odd little British/Canadian/Bulgarian production is action on a shoestring budget, and it shows. The film is very much action peppered with occasional bits of dialogue to explain what's going on. Probably the best of the action is the hand-to-hand fighting by Gary Daniels, which demonstrates he may have some potential as an action star albeit not in the hands of this director. The most disappointing aspect of this movie is that at times it is clear that it could have been so much better more consistent direction and sharper editing could have made this a significant low- budget actioner.
It's Got: Occasional moments of successful action.
It Needs: Much stronger writing and direction.

Summary
Low budget actioner with little to recommend it. Fans of Gary Daniels will enjoy seeing him fight, of course.
